Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out and sign on a confidential patient health record. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition. (Takes about 5~10min)
Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment plan options. (Takes about 5~10min)
History and Examination
In order to determine what your actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a number of specialized tests (Emotional/Physical/Chemical) will be performed to determine which causes are affected and to what extent. Chiropractic examination, orthopedic and neurological examinations as related to chiropractic to determine, if chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition. (Takes about 10~30 minutes, and if more time is required, it will be extended to the next session)
X-ray (MRI) or other Lab. Studies
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays or laboratory tests to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. (Extra payments might be necessary based on outsourcing places)
Same Day Treatment
Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include spinal adjustments, emotional/nutrition therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies.
If your case requires immediate attention/ care will be administered. (Take about 20~50 minutes including chiropractic care)
Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions; avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
Schedule Your Next Appointment
You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.
You will be given a report of findings on your second scheduled visit. The doctor will inform you of your examination results. If more examination is required, then we will inform you at the next visit

After you receive your report of findings, you will be advised of choices of care. You will be advised concerning type of care and financial arrangements as appropriate.
Starting from the next visit, adjustments will continue on a schedule based upon your choice of care.
